FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Ministry of Labor and the National Committee of Political and Social Equality and Opportunity - Technical Reception office with Decree 15/12/2004.
DURATION: 8 months
OBJECTIVE:The project, as conceived, intends to meet two needs, regarding direct and indirect recipients. The first step is to enable the technical and instrumental viability of the Armida cooperative (laboratory for clay arts, laboratory for decoration, multimedia laboratory) currently installed in the classroom adjacent to the Archaeological Museum of Conversano, with the objective of professionalizing its staff, thereby widening the ability of the cooperative, and looking for the correct position in its market, also to favor female occupational growth in the professional sector so as to support the prevailing needs of reconciling job and family. Indirectly it also allows for the objective pursuit of peer opportunities linked to access of services, for the special requirements of tourists, and for disadvantaged people.
RECIPIENTS:The formation phase will support 10 women between the ages of 20 and 50 years, in possession of diploma, with knowledge of foreign languages and computer technology, previous experiences in the area of instruction. 4 spaces are reserved for the Armida Cooperative, the remainder to be recruited with public advertisement. The phases of analysis for strategic marketing and realization of promotional tools are suited to directly benefit the cooperative, with the goal of consolidating and implementing services in the are of the development of the cultural good.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF REALIZED ACTIONS:
- I Phase–Formation Phase, reserved for 4 members of the cooperative: volunteers and workers and 6 day-students, to be able to look for new collaborators, resolving to optimize the use of tools in the endowment of the cooperative, as well as to identify methods and useful means of delivering guided tours and entertaining instructional activities to disabled individuals.
- II Phase–Realization of a market analysis elaborating correct strategies for sales and communication in order to develop a better position of the cooperative at the regional and national level.
- III Phase - Creation of a system of promotion through print, digital services and multimedia.
